Xiaomi India has announced today that its first Android Go Edition smartphone will be launched in India soon. Redmi Go is the name of this smartphone, which has been previously announced in the Philippines. According to the company, this handset will be launched in India on March 19, 2019.
Speaking of Redmi Go's specs, this smartphone is going to get you the Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition software, where you can get light version apps like YouTube Go, Maps Go, Files Go, Google Go, Google Assistant Go.
The same old 16: 9 display has been used in Redmi Go. Here you get a 5-inch HD display. This smartphone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, with Adreno 308 GPU also included. It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal memory, triple card slots, here you can expand memory with an additional dedicated microSD card slot up to 128GB.

Redmi Go will come with the 8MP rear camera, LED flash, f / 2.0 aperture, and 5MP selfie snapper with f / 2.2 aperture. Apart from this, RedmiGo has a 3000 mAh battery, has 4G VoLTE connectivity, features like Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack.
However, we don't know about the Indian price of this smartphone, but in the Philippines, it has been launched at the price of 3,990 Philippine Piso, that is, approximately Rs. 5000.
