Xiaomi's first Android Go Edition Smartphone, Redmi Go has been launched in India today. Although it has already been announced in China. Two colour options available in India of this smartphone will be available, including Black and Blue.
Redmi Go has a 5-inch HD display with 16:9 aspect ratio. The company has launched it with 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset, which also has Adreno 308 GPU. In the storage option, the handset will come with 1 GB of RAM and 8GB internal memory.
At the same time, Redmi Go has a triple card slot, its dedicated microSD card slot accepts memory card upto 128GB. There is an 8MP single rear camera which comes with LED flashlight, f / 2.0 aperture and Full HD+ video recording support. The same 5MP front camera is also provided with f / 2.2 aperture and auto HDR options.
This handset has an Android 8.0 Oreo (Go Edition) and has a 3000mAh battery, which will be without fast charging. Other options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The price of this handset in India is Rs. 4,499 and it will be available on Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores from March 22. Also, there is also 2,200 vouchers and 100 GB 4G data offers on the purchase of Redmi Go for Jio Users.
