Vivo had recently announced the premium series iQOO, as well as today the company announces the first smartphone of the new entry-level U series. This smartphone has been launched today in China in Midnight Black, Purple and Aurora Red Color Options. 



Vivo U1's two storage options have been launched, with a variant worth 799 yuan (approx. 8,500 INR) coming with 3GB RAM and 32 GB of storage, 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM is priced at 1199 yuan (approx. 12,500 INR).

The Viva U1's display is 6.22 inches, which is fitted with HD+ resolution, water drop notch, 19:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass. In the same handset, you have been given Qualcomm's new chipset Octa-Core Snapdragon 439. 

In this dual-based smartphone, the FunTouch OS 4.5 UI has been provided with the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. There is also a 13MP primary rear shooter and the secondary 2MP camera has been given for depth focusing. 



In Vivo U1, you get the branding of the Vivo under the fingerprint scanner, in addition to dual sensors and LED flashlight on the rear panel. The 8MP front camera has been fitted in this handset. Apart from this, you have been given 4030mAh battery, but there is no fast charging support here.

The connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and Micro USB port. No announcement has been made so far for the India launch of this handset, but if it is launched in India then maybe there is still a more time left.
