In MWC 2019, Huawei finally announced its Foldable Smartphone Mate X. The highlight of this foldable smartphone is that the company has used Falcon Wing design in it, which comes with a stretchable hinge and gives you a smooth display on both sides. Mate X is only 5.4mm thick when unfold.
Display & Processor
In Mate X you get the 6.6inch OLED display, whose screen resolution is 2480 × 1148 pixels and once it is unfolded it becomes converted into an 8inch OLED screen. Apart from this, on the rear panel, the screen you are given is a 6.38-inch screen with a 25:9 aspect ratio.
In addition to this foldable smartphone, you have been given a kirin 980 processor, which you have seen in the last year Huawei Mate 20 series. Plus, in this smartphone, you get Balong 5000 5G modem for 5G support.
Camera
Mate X does not have a Notch or Pop-Up Selfie camera, but a separate place for cameras. One side of this smartphone is quite thick and on the same side, you get triple Leica camera. The primary camera is 40MP, which comes with f / 1.8 aperture. In addition, the secondary camera is a 16MP wide-angle camera and an 8MP telephoto lens is also available here.

Huawei Mate X has EMUI 9.1.1 with Android 9.0 Pie OS. Here you get a hybrid dual sim slot, in which you can also use the second SIM slot as the NM card slot. The side of the phone is thicker, while a side mounted fingerprint scanner is also provided. There are also dual speakers, 5G multi-mode, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, BlueTooth 5.0 LE, GPS and USB type C charging port.
Pricing Details
The price of Huawei Mate X is 2299 Euros (approx Rs. 185,000). These foldable smartphones will only be available from Q2 in the interstellar blue colour. Well, here you do not get colour options like the Galaxy Fold, and its price is also higher in comparison to the Galaxy Fold. But Huawei Mate X is leaving behind the Galaxy Fold in the case of Looks.
